Welcome to Bushlight
Bushlight short film
Since 2002, Bushlight has worked with 130 Aboriginal communities across NT, QLD, and WA to improve access to reliable energy services and increase livelihood opportunities.
In late 2012 filmmaker Tim Parish put together a short film about Bushlight after travelling to Kabulwarnamyo in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Kabulwarnamyo sits on the vast Warddeken Indigenous Protected Area and is home to the award winning Warddeken Rangers. The Bushlight renewable energy system provides reliable, affordable power for the community's domestic activities as well as supporting the important work of the ranger program.
