Community eligibility

Among other criteria communities which are considered suitable for a Bushlight renewable energy system must:

• Be lived in for at least 36 weeks of the year; 
• Have no access to grid power or be totally reliant on generators; 
• Have secure land tenure or occupation rights; and 
• Have at least one permanent building meeting State or Territory construction standards.
